Girl Security Scholars

Girl Security Scholars is a pilot research program developed by Girl Security. The purpose of this program is to “provide in-depth research and leadership development for girls and young women interested in national security careers…Over the course of the next six months you will work with the Girl Security team, a lead mentor, and the wide Girl Security network to explore your particular national security topic.”

“The mission of Girl Security is to close the gender gap in national security through learning, training, and mentoring support for girls… We believe that empowering girls in national security will be the most transformative advancement of the 21st century. We seek to build a world where women are the decision makers responsible for securing our nation and the world.”
